Lance Burton returns home to Kentucky to mess with local TV hosts, talk about upcoming charity show

February 22, 2018

Lance Burton may have technically retired back in 2010, but that hasn’t stopped him from performing every now and again. He’s even got a show coming up in March in his home state of Kentucky, and he stopped by local Louisville TV station WHAS11 to chat about the gig and even performed a quick card trick for the hosts.

The upcoming show, called Lance Burton: Master Magician & Friends, will take place on Saturday, March 24 at the Louisville Palace. He’ll be performing “some of [his] favorite magic, with an emphasis on audience interaction and audience participation,” along with Fielding West, Michael Goudeau, and Keith West’s Illusioneers. Tickets are still available for $49.50-$69.50, and part of the proceeds will be donated to the Kentucky Humane Society. More information on the event and ticket purchases can be found at louisvillepalace.com.

If you’re unable to catch his show in Louisville, he’ll also be appearing at the International Brotherhood of Magicians Convention in Grand Rapids, Michigan to host his 13th Teen Seminar, available for free to registered convention goers between the ages of 13-19.
