Jamie Raven may have lost the Britain’s Got Talent 2015 final to a Border Collie by just 2.2% of the votes, but he hasn’t let that humiliating defeat at the paws of his canine nemesis hold him back. Has Matisse the dog headlined the West End Box Office Smash, “The Illusionists?” No, he’s a dog. Did he go on a sell-out stage show tour in 2016 and 2017? No, he is, in fact, a dog. Is he starting another stage show in September? No. Dog. Well, Jamie Raven is. Take that, dog.
In Making Magic, Raven is going to perform a range of new tricks and demonstrate how and why magic works. He’ll also pick a member of the audience and teach them a bit of magic, having them perform the final trick of the night.
The tour kicks off at Northwich Memorial Court on Friday, September 28th. Doors open at 7:00pm and the show starts at 7:30pm. Tickets are on sale now and start at £14.00.
And the dog totally cheated, by the way. Just sayin’.
Jamie Raven, who secured many fans during his run on Britain’s Got Talent, is hitting the road. The magician is traveling the UK for his new Making Magic tour. Shows are currently scheduled in September and October from Manchester to Maidenhead. Check out the current stops and buy tickets here.
Raven was a finalist for Britain’s Got Talent in 2015. After losing out in the grand finals to an act featuring dog tricks, he’s make a joke of the outcome by billing himself as the “top human” of the season. Good boy!
