Manas Tayal was supposed to be an engineer. As a child, he went to school in New Delhi, India, took his exams, and went along with the flow as best as he could. But all his life he felt like he was different from his classmates, and after watching a magic special on TV, he found his true calling. Now he goes by Magic Manas and has performed comedy and illusions for audiences all over the globe. In a Josh Talk (India’s answer to TED), he talks about how accepting himself for who he was and what he wanted to be, and his path to get there—along with a few magic tricks for good measure.
