Hello magic fans. Did you know what the technical term for a fear of palindromes (words that are the same spelled forwards and backwards) is itself a palindrome? Yep. It’s called aibohphobia. Somebody once looked at a group of people suffering from a possibly crippling irrational fear, sat down, and thought, “man, how can I make life worse for these people?”
And then they did. That’s drive, folks.

Dr. Naomi Paxton, perhaps better known as Ada Campe, discovered a delightful automaton that is definitely quaint and charming and not terrifying at all.

The meet-up will run from 1pm to 5pm and boasts free entry, contests, prizes, and a high chance of appearing in one of Ramsay’s future videos.
Fantasma Magic Shop is at 213 W 35th Street, Suite 401, NYC 10001. While you’re there, you should check out The Houdini Museum of New York, conveniently located inside the store, which showcases a collection of the iconic escape artist’s locks, keys and picks, as well as illusions, archival footage, posters, journals and other collectables.
